ALBERT CABREJO
Albert is a Civil Engineer, with postgraduate studies in Geotechnical Engineering and over 20 years of experience working for the geotechnical industry. He has supported the expansion of radar technology worldwide for open pits, and more recently new technologies for rock fall detection, tailings dams surface monitoring, underground convergence and construction monitoring, and R&D of new software and products.
In previous roles he spent about 10 years in consulting, and 5 years in geotechnical construction projects for the civil industry.
His mission is to continue working with the industry and suppliers to bring the future generation of geotechnical monitoring techniques, equipment and applications with a clear goal in mind of improving safety, productivity and pushing the boundaries of the state of the geotechnical art. He enjoys very much helping colleagues develop their understanding of radar and general monitoring technologies, and gets great satisfaction in teaching.
